God has graciously provided us with an incredible opportunity: the purchase of The Hill, a ministry centre for all of the Northern Trinity churches to use in partnership that will serve as a hub for gospel outreach. For the first time, our churches have a permanent base for ministry. A place where the good news of Jesus can go out more effectively, and where disciples can be nurtured for generations to come.
This vision has been made possible through extraordinary gospel generosity. Through the selfless generosity of Hill Street church, we have three quarters of the funds needed, so that more people in Adelaide might come to know Jesus. Now, we as the four northern churches have the opportunity to join in that same generosity to complete the work.
Our prayer is that The Hill will become a space buzzing with gospel life: playgroups and youth gatherings, evangelistic courses and training nights, community care and celebrations, Bible studies and where our evening church can meet. A place where people of all ages can hear the gospel, grow in faith, and be sent out to serve.
This is more than bricks and carpet, it is a God-given base camp for mission. Our prayer is that the gospel continues to advance in the north of Adelaide to the glory of God.
What can we do now? Two things:
Please Pray and Give Thanks
- Give great thanks to God for how he has made this possible and for the generosity already seen.
- Pray that we would be able to see more people turn to Jesus as saviour and Lord, along with maturing God’s people through this new space.
- Pray that we would be wise and steward this resource well.
- Pray that we would do all for the glory of God (1 Corinthians 10:31).
