Jesus

Jesus

We exist not just for Christians but for anyone who wants to investigate the claims of Jesus—the person at the very heart of Christianity.

God made us, to live with Him forever, yet things are not right between us and God. But, out of His love for us, God sent his Son, Jesus Christ, to die in our place.

Christ died for sins, once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God.

1 Peter 3:18

Then God raised Jesus to life again as the Lord and Saviour of all. And God now urges everyone to trust in his Son, to be made right with Him.

To be a Christian is to know Jesus personally. If you would like to examine the claims of the Christian faith, we would like to help. Contact us so that we can talk further.

We run our Explore series throughout the year to help people understand Christianity. It’s informal, free, simple and great fun. It helps anyone investigate Christianity, or just brush up on the basics. You won’t be asked to pray, sing or read aloud, and you can ask any questions you like. Or, if you prefer, you can just come along and listen. You will be welcomed, in a safe and respectful environment designed to suit different ages and people.

Please also come along to a Sunday gathering to find out who Jesus is and what it means to follow him.

Cassidy’s Story

As a child, Cassidy was curious about everyone else’s beliefs, because she didn’t have any of her own. By her late teens, Cassidy was experiencing fears and insecurities, and feeling lost and lonely, not knowing what she wanted to do in life. Her best friend from primary school invited her to church, and she started to attend church and explore the Bible. Watch this video to hear Cassidy’s story.

‘I started falling in love with God when he started listening to me, and when I started to talk to him I felt his presence … the first time I felt that, I was blown away, I was brought to tears because it was so awesome and so emotional … it was something I’d never felt before, and I felt like I started to belong to God. I started to feel like I had my place in the world. I started to feel like he was starting to show me my purpose, and I wasn’t lost any more, I was found.’
