Staff

In line with scripture (1 Timothy 5:17-21), we appoint and employ ministry staff to free them up to give full attention to the ministry of prayer and the word (Acts 6:3), so they can equip the whole church for ministry (Ephesians 4:1-16). We also employ support staff to ensure the many administrative and organisational needs of church are well cared for, so that the life of our church doesn’t fall into disorder (1 Corinthians 14:33).

Leadership Team

Our Leadership Team are responsible spiritually and legally for all the ministries and responsibilities of our church (Acts 20:28-30 & Corporations Act 2001). This team is made up of five godly men and women (Romans 16:1 & 1 Timothy 3:8-11): two congregationally appointed representatives (voted in at our AGM), two appointed by the Senior Pastor, and the Senior Pastor. With the exception of the Senior Pastor, Leadership Team members are appointed for two years at a time. In the event that a member leaves their position before their tenure, the Leadership Team appoint a replacement.

Ministry Team Leaders

Doing ministry is the heart of what Christians do (Ephesians 2:10 & 4:1-16). At Trinity Church Mount Barker, we organise our ministries into teams of people, joyfully labouring together to build up Christ’s church. Our Ministry Team Leaders are a group of godly men and women who work together to ensure we are being faithful to God’s call in all of our lives, and that all our ministries work together for the growth of the gospel.
