Aimee has worked as our Church Administrator since 2021. Her role includes preparing slides for each Sunday, and scheduling and organising volunteers.
She was raised in a Christian family but really started growing in faith around the time she became pregnant with her first child. Aimée joined Trinity Church Mount Barker shortly before her third child was born.
With a degree in Microbiology, and having worked for 16 years in the diagnostic microbiology laboratory at Flinders Medical Centre, she turned more toward family concerns in 2010 when a 7-day, on-call hospital roster started to cause complications with looking after three young kids! After all her kids were at school, Aimée returned to work and spent five years as a dental receptionist, then resigned from that job to become our Church Administrator.
Aimée has been married for 20+ years and has three school-age children, so between all that and working for the church, she keeps busy! Her family also has a crazy golden retriever, three indoor cats and three aquariums. In her spare time she loves to garden, and she schedules about an hour or more in the yard every day. Aimée also likes puzzling, embroidery and playing games with the kids!
